Música: Katie Melua - Nuevo disco: "Secret Symphony" - "The Bit That I Don't Get"

Hola! Por fin me ha llegado, el nuevo disco de Katie Melua!! Secret Symphony.

Qué decir de este nuevo disco, no voy a decir que es bueno, malo... es HERMOSO! Creo que es el mejor adjetivo que lo describe.

Musicalmente el disco se aleja del ritmo Pop de los anteriores discos y se centra en las baladas. Como siempre con ese toque de Blues que inunda todos los discos de esta artista.
No encontrarás, como decía antes, ninguna canción con ritmo, que te haga mover el cuerpo. No obstante todas sus canciones te harán balancear tu cabeza lentamente mientras cierras un poco los ojos.

Su nombre nos puede dar una pista del peso que tendrá la música, ya que como plus, en el disco colabora la "Secret Symphony Orchestra". Abundan los instrumentos de cuerda frotada y por supuesto el piano y la guitarra de Katie y su banda. La voz de Katie sigue siendo igual de dulce que en su primer disco aunque como ya en su anterior disco "The House" se nota que ha madurado y a perfeccionado su talento vocal. Ella, Mike Butt y su banda hicieron nuevamente un estupendo trabajo.

La caja del CD incluye un excelente album de fotos de la artista, aunque tiene un fallo para mí un poco grande, no trae las letras de las canciones. Eso sí, te dicen que vayas a la página web oficial para verlas.

Espero que disfruten de su música como hago yo.
